Are you a visionary designer with an obsession for detail? PixelPerfect Studio is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mockup Designer to help us push the boundaries of product presentation. You will be responsible for creating high-fidelity, photorealistic mockups that elevate our clients' brands and facilitate seamless design-to-development handoffs.
You will join a fast-paced team of creatives in San Francisco, working on projects that range from sleek tech hardware to luxury lifestyle apparel. If you have an eye for lighting, texture, and composition, we want to see your portfolio.
Responsibility
- Develop hyper-realistic 3D and 2D product mockups for web and print campaigns.
- Collaborate with Art Directors to maintain visual consistency across all client touchpoints.
- Optimize mockup files for ease of use by internal design teams and external partners.
- Conduct research on current design trends to ensure our visual assets remain cutting-edge.
- Manage end-to-end production of complex scene builds including lighting, material mapping, and rendering.
- Mentor junior designers on advanced layering techniques and non-destructive workflows.
- Streamline the asset library to improve team production efficiency by 20%.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in product design, graphic design, or 3D visualization.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (Smart Objects) and Illustrator.
- Strong background in 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or Adobe Dimension.
- Deep understanding of typography, color theory, and composition.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
- A stellar portfolio demonstrating high-end mockup production and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to non-creatives.
